So, I've been having this issue for a while. Sometimes, I will play my sims game and I see that random sims fill up the empty houses. I know that some people like to fill up the houses, but I hate it. Especially when they keep filling the houses and I have no empty houses to move my families into. I have disabled the option to fill the empty houses, I have no mods that would cause this, and it happens so randomly. It doesn't always fill up the houses every time I run the game, but when it does, I have to individually evict every person, and it's really annoying. I've been getting rid of some of my old cc, but I don't have any gameplay mods that would cause this to happen. I have MC Command Center, but there's no options that would cause sims to fill up houses, from what I've seen. Other than that, I can't figure out why my game would do this. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thankfully I am a user of MC Command Center; normally for MC Command Center, if you have questions, you can check Deaderpool's FAQ document on the mod. (Note: The link will take you off this site to the MC Command Center main site.) I have taken the initiative to get the information on this question from the FAQ:

How Do You Download Cc Houses On Sims 4

Download File 🔥 https://blltly.com/2yGAIP 🔥

Per MC Command Center, one of the ways you can prevent lots from being populated is to lower the "Beds" count of each lot to 0, or to disable the Population_AllowHomelessMoveIn feature. (To affect the Population settings, select a computer on the lot, then MC Command Center.)

Please note, AHQ does not provide constant support for individual mods, hence why you are recommended to reach out to the modder who works on MC Command Center (Deaderpool), or to reach out to his community via Discord, or via his Patreon. (You can get further information on it via the link to his support site as referenced above.)

Product: The Sims 4

Platform:PC

Which language are you playing the game in? English

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)

What is your current game version number? 1.77.131.1030

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get together, Get to work, Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat, Paranormal Stuff, Nifty Knitting, Tiny Living, Moschino, My First Pet, Laundry Day, Toddler, Fitness, Bowling Night, Vintage Glamour, Backyard, Kids Room, Romantic Garden, Movie Hangout, Spooky, Cool Kitchen, Perfect Patio, Luxury Party

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I am really unsure it happens randomly either when loading the game up or by loading in a new lot.

What happens when the bug occurs? The entire town's lots become unplayable. A green or orange exclamation point shows up on the manage town screen. The sims cant go to those lots and if you are already loading into the lot it is completely gone.

What do you expect to see? Playable lots

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

When I either load into a game or load into a lot while playing the game, the lot will disappear and when I go to manage world view, or am loading in for the first time, every single lot has a green or orange exclamation point. They are completely unplayable and I loose everything. If its a home lot, all pets are also gone. Everything.

I have tried everything. I save before visiting other lots because it happens so frequently and randomly I never know when it will break. Sometimes it takes multiple reloads back into the game to fix it. Only sometimes. Others its completely broken and never fixes. I have removed cache files. I have repaired the game. I have fully uninstalled and reinstalled this game. It doesn't matter it keeps coming back.

@druidtiefling Sounds a bit like this: -Reports/OPEN-Houses-Lots-disappear/td-p/4620279/ although the exclamation points are new. Do you get those only on community lots or also on residential lots as well ?

Did you ever get any error codes on this save ?

I don't work or have any association with EA. I give advice to the best of my knowledge and cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your computer/game.

Please only contact me via PM when asked to do so.

when I go into the sims 4 there are orange triangles with an exclemation on most of the lots (both empty and buildings). I can go onto the empty lots when I'm just gonna build, but when I do build, the actual floors and roofs of the squares I build doest show up. if I just made a new sim I can't move them to any of the houses where there is a exclamation. I can't play with any of the existing households if the house have an orange exclamation. Is.there a specific reason for this? If so What can I do to fix it?

@Clarohine If you completely bulldoze one of the lots and place a new building on it, do you have the same issue? You don't need to save your progress after doing so, in fact please don't: it's better if you preserve the game's automatic backups, in case you need them later, and saving erases the oldest backup.

I've been playing The Sims 4 on and off since it launched back in 2014, and while I've had a lot of fun, when it comes to building a house I'm always paralysed by choice. Presented with a massive lot, I never know where to start, what to build, or how to decorate it. There's simply too much stuff to choose from, and I end up just moving into a pre-built house.

I should mention that I'm not playing the actual game. I'm just building small houses, which my sims will never set foot in. I find creating houses in The Sims 4, then decorating them in an aesthetically pleasing manner, oddly therapeutic. And this combined with the puzzle-solving aspect of Tiny Living turned out to be a perfect storm. When the world gets too heavy, I find myself firing up The Sims 4 and shifting all my focus to figuring out the most efficient place to put a shower, or what kind of rug will really tie the room together.

I found out that when I decorate I do a lot of just staring at the house, put one piece in, and look at it for another 10 minutes. While that works for making pretty houses it doesn't work for making interesting videos!

So as you can see I decorated the house and was in love with how it all turned out. A few things caused me problems but all in all I was very happy. I went and made a brand new family for the house and moved them there.

We may only be one month into the year, but I've already discovered my favorite indie game trend of 2024 - taking the interior design skills I learned from The Sims 4 and applying them to little cozy rooms.

For me, the most exciting part of The Sims 4 is designing the home that my Sims are going to live in. Looking back on it, this may have been what sparked my interest in House Flipper, and its sequel House Flipper 2, and what's probably given me my latest indie game obsession: designing little rooms. There are already several games that fit this description on my Steam wishlist, and I'm expecting even more to join them before the year is up.

One of the most recent additions to that list is Furnish Master, a relaxing game that has players furnishing apartments, houses, commercial estates, and more. What I love about this indie in particular is that it features a good variety of rooms, a lot of customization options, and the ability to design different rooms on each side of the game's diorama-style world. Furnish Master is set to release on February 20, 2024, with a demo available to try now.

Elsewhere on my wishlist, we've got Make Room. Similar to the game above, this indie will have players crafting cozy rooms in a miniature diorama. The main thing about this one is that you appear to be pretty limited on space, so you'll have to be smart when squeezing all the home comforts into the room. Make a Room also has a demo but we're still waiting on a release date for it.

Finally, we've got Spirit City: Lofi Sessions which is a little different to the games above but still has an element of cozy home customization. I'm pretty sure everyone knows about Lofi Girl by now, and this upcoming indie takes that idea and turns it into its very own gamified focus tool.

In this game, you'll be able to create your character, customize your surroundings, and collect spirits - all while listening to a Lofi soundtrack of your choice. We don't have to wait long for this one either, as it's set to release on April 8, 2024. Just like the other games I've highlighted here, it also has a demo.

This isn't even the first time I've written about cozy room decorators. Alongside all of the games listed above, I'm also excited for cute house-builder Summerhouse, Unpacking-like Camper Van: Make it Home, and satisfying simulation game My Dream Set-up.
