I was sitting watching TV Netflix on roku and it just logged me out. When I logged back in it said I needed to activate my roku device. So I did that and when the reactivation was complete every app was gone. Even though when I go to roku app and search for all the channel apps I had everyone says they are installed, but nothing is on my TV to choose from.

@Crolson Someone probably got into your account after they bought their own Roku and deleted all of the apps from your devices or something like that. Hopefully @RokuKariza-D or someone else at Roku will explain to you more in this situation.

If any channels/apps are added/removed from one Roku they are added/removed from every Roku linked to the same Roku account. You can see what Rokus are linked to your account by using the email address that shows up under Settings->System->About to log in at . Check to see if there are any devices shown there that you don't recognize. If the email address that shows under Settings->System-About isn't yours or you don't recognize it then you have bigger problems.

Roku has, in the past, pushed channels. I'm not aware of them doing it recently. Those were big name apps (Showtime, etc) that got a major push. Think along the line of the whole Apple/U2 album release fiasco; everyone got it, despite not wanting it. Roku was doing the same thing around that time.

To be honest I was excited when I first saw the roku offerings. Hope that I could either register my cams in Roku app or have Roku app pick up from Wyze. I have Roku TV/boxes and the ability to pull up on tv/projector directly would be cool.

Roku has made several apps, or "channels," available for its Roku TV devices, but how do you find, download, and install these apps? Fortunately, Roku has made this process simple, no matter what kind of Roku device or Smart TV you might have! This wikiHow article will show you 3 easy ways to download apps to your Roku TV, using the Roku mobile app, your web browser, or your Roku TV or streaming device.

Roku is an over-the-top (OTT) streaming device that allows you to stream video content straight to your TV, both on-demand and live. The device gives you access to a full catalog of streaming channels, called Roku apps or Roku channels.

It would be awesome if roku could get a working twitch app. At this point, I would pay money for it - ad supported or not. I can't switch the entire house to fire tv/stick/cube right now but watching twitch on my tv is really important.

Roku devices, if you ask us, are some of the best streaming devices out there. In fact, I recently ditched my Apple TV for Roku, and it's mostly paid off (the Netflix bug on Apple TV 4K has yet to pop up on my Roku Ultra). Unfortunately, I've recently come across an odd bug that makes it look like I have zero apps.

Basically, there's just a giant sea of purple where the apps should be. I don't know how to trigger this issue, it just seems like a problem where the Roku is having trouble loading its app icons. Confusing, right? Well, I'm not exactly alone. A 2020 Roku forums post saw a user share a similar issue, as they noted "none of my channels show up" and a device reset (which I'll explain below) didn't work.

Of course, since streaming devices are still basically little computers (much like our phones), so if you come across such a situation, your solution may require something completely different. Either way, this should be the first thing you try if your Roku home screen apps just suddenly disappear. ff782bc1db
