Your antivirus software is designed to protect your computer from malicious malware, however it can also prevent your phone or tablet from being able to export photos to your computer. Check your software to make sure this isn't causing you problems.

When you first connect your device to your PC it may pop up a notification indicating that your phone or tablet is charging. Tap on this to change the settings to "Connected as media device" so that data can be transferred.

How Do I Download Photos From My Samsung Galaxy Phone To My Computer

Download File 🔥 https://urluss.com/2yGAGC 🔥

Hello. I was transferring photos from my Samsung Galaxy S9+ storage to my computer by selecting the folder and pressing "Ctrl+X" and pasting it into my computers hardrive. A window popped up calculating the time it would take to finish the process, but shortly after it closed. I disconnected my phone from the computer and my photos were gone and the folder in my computer was empty. The folder I transferred from my phone was about 20 GB in size. I don't have any photos backed up on any cloud based services. Is there any way I could recover my lost photos?

Try Samsung data recovery software to help you recover the deleted photos. But before that, you need to stop using your Samsung Galaxy S9, cause if the deleted photos were overwritten by new data, it's impossible to recover them back. And next time if you want to transfer photos from Samsung Galaxy S9 to computer, try samsung mobile manager tool. With its help, you can access to all photos on it and export them to computer with one-click. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the advice as the same thing happened to me. I tried Disk digger and found my lost files and recovered them but the photos were compromised and not focused or "clear" a little blurry like they were a screen grab or a photo of a photo.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra running the latest Android 13 OS. I need to export dozens of conversions from my Samsung phone to Windows 10 computer. I can directly access the photos when I connect the phone to Windows 10 via USB cable but there is no way to find the messages.

First things first, if you have the 'Samsung Smart Switch' software on your computer, that might help. You can back up your S23 Ultra using the software, and while you can't directly read the messages from the backup, there are tools online that let you extract and view them. Bit roundabout, but hey, it works!

TunesBro DroidGeeker - Here's another great thing I've been using at the moment. It's a paid tool but does the job smoothly, allowing you to view and save your messages directly to your PC.

If you've just got a few really important threads to save, go to the message thread on your phone, tap the 3-dot menu, and select 'Save as file' or something similar (might vary depending on the Android version). Then, just email that file to yourself and open it on your PC. It's a bit manual, especially if you've got tons of messages, but works in a pinch!

I've used SMS Backup & Restore in the past. Super simple. It lets you backup your messages in an XML file. Once backed up, you can transfer this XML file to your PC. Now, for reading them on your computer, you might need another tool to convert XML to a more readable/printable format, but there are loads of online converters that can help with that.

Just a heads up, whenever you're using third-party apps, especially for something as personal as text messages, always check out the permissions they're asking for and read some reviews. Better safe than sorry!

If you don't want to install programs on your computer, Email is a good choice. You just need to go to the "Messages" app on your Samsung phone, choose the message you want to transfer. Click on the dotted button on the top right corner on the screen, choose "More" option, then tick "Share" icon, press "Email" button and write the Email address to transfer these messages. Log in the Email account to download the messages that you sent on PC.

@Clina980 I was really hoping this would help me, but perhaps due to a software update or something, these steps don't work. When I choose the message and press the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner, the only option I get is "Mark as unread." There is no "More" option which would allow me to share it to my email.

I have the oldest version of the Android Smart Phone - a Samsung Galaxy S. I wish to transfer about 1400 photos off of it to my HP Pavilion Entertainment notebook PC. It is Not as easy as from an IPhone. I did it from an IPhone for a friend once and there were prompts when I plugged in the IPhone to the PC - very easy. Such is Not the case with my Smart Phone (Seems it isn't so smart!) So, can someone tell me the easiest way to transfer photos off the older Android smartphone too my PC?

Also I have about 80 Memos in the Memo section on the android smartphone . They are very important and I don't want to lose them. Is there an easy way to transfer them from the smartphone to my documents files in my PC?

But, since you are going to Consumer Cellular, the have customer walk in centers that you can take the old phone to and they can transfer your files over to any new smart phone (as can any other phone company).

There could be a few factors at play here. Have you made sure the phone is in MTP mode (Media Transfer Protocol)? That should be found somewhere in the Settings menu. What version of Windows is running on the computer you're trying to transfer to? If you're using a newer version of Windows, 10 for example, and a legacy device like your smartphone, there might not be a device driver for your operating system, or you might have to install the driver manually from Samsung.

One thing you might consider is buying a microSD card and transferring all your files onto there first. Insert the card in the old phone, copy everything over, and then you can save the files from the card onto your computer, and continue using the card in your new phone for extra storage (assuming the new phone has a memory card slot).

The answer I received was only a partial one. Your first paragraph was like "Greek" to me, as I don't keep up to date on all of the newest electronic devices. Your first paragraph does not apply to my issue. I asked someone in an electronics retail store what his opinion was, and he said what you did in your second paragraph. Neither he - or you - told me the step by step "How to" things to do (which is what I needed). Finally I looked up the Users' Manual for my cellphone model, and it fortunately has a video on transferring media form the phone to PC. I still need to find out how to transfer the content of the "Memo" section to the PC (not all of the step for the photos apply to the memos).

I thank you for your answering my question (albeit only having a partial answer). If you happen to be able to assist in the transferring of the memos I will appreciate it (the manual doesn't have that information). Remember - I need step by step, not just a broad answer such as "put them onto a micro SD".

I would like to request assistance (by way of step by step instructions) with transferring Memos and also all of my email contacts that are in the phone. (currently I am unable to access email because I recently switched from ATT to Consumer Cellular. I am considering buying a new cell phone because the Samsung Galaxy that I have is an ATT phone. It used the ATT network. I want to transfer all my cellphone (important files and folders) to my PC so I can move forward with getting a new phone. I will appreciate your help. Thank you.

Do you have the USB cable that came with your phone to connect it to the PC? It will be the charger cord with a micro USB plug on one end and a larger USB plug on the other end. Plug it in to the phone and PC to begin. The Phone must be turned on for this to work.

Unfortunately, I have an even older version than the cellphone to which you refer. When I plug in the cord, I don't get the window that you show. The phone had some prompts that got me to the USB connection, but it still wasn't that "your" window. In other words, no window opens to show what you have shown. I have a feeling that we are - "so close, yet so far away" from the solution.... meaning it may be there but it's just not seen. Maybe you can suggest another way to get to the folders on my cellphone. Remember, it is the Original Galaxy smartphone. No upgrades. I bought it right after they came out in 2010. If you need to stop assisting, I understand, and thank you for all your help. If you can keep trying, then I thank you very much for that! 152ee80cbc
