As I recall, Eufy App is very basic feature.

You cannot download the continuous since I owned it day one.

Eufy 2k is basically a 1080p camera.The Sd card are all 1080p video.

you only get 2k from clips where video uploaded to Eufy and reprocessed to by their software to get 2k file like the DVD players. Raw data is still 1080p.

You can, however, use the record function to save clips from continuous recording to your device. You do need to view your desired video then push Record and it will download the clip to your EufyVideo folder.

I have ticked the box for continuous record but notice when I turn the camera on and then press playback nothing has recorded.

I am useless and things like this so do I need to turn the camera on permanently and if so how.

I have all the motion sensors turned off is this the reason.

The blue light is on .

Same problem. Recording and playback work manually but when I set my recording to continuous or schuduled it failed. I did find that I could get it to play if I was home and let it spin. When I was away and had 4G connections it would not play.

yes. I have the solo outdoor e24. I have since learned from a reddit chat that the only way it will record for continuous or scheduled mode is that I have to actually press the record button during playback. If I leave the app for any reason the recording is cancelled. This seems to be problematic for me. There is no cloud service and the memory card in encrypted, so if I want to archive a scheduled recording, I have to manually record the stream, hope my cell phone battery holds up, and do nothing else for the 8 hrs of recording I want to download. Not a good design.

Oh wow. How interesting, yeah they need to re word that. I think that recording setting only refers to the events. Which it might be that when an event occurs (even with continuous recording turned on), just the event records in 2K. All of the other non events might be in 1080p. Just a theory. That might be what weirds out the camera, switching the resolutions.

I just dialed back my recording quality setting to Full HD (1080p) from 2K. I was also getting the random blanked out recording spots from time to time. Wonder if this is the bug that is causing it.
