How 2 Lrn w ur Mobile Device
Welcome to ITEC 299!
In this class you will use learning strategies to improve your learning and use technologies to put those strategies into action. Although the course title is "How to learn with your mobile device," you do not need to own a mobile device to take this class. This class works like a learning game. After you choose a role to match your goal (learning pathway), you'll complete learning quests designed to help you meet the course objectives. This class meets the General Education requirements for Area E, Lifelong Learning and Personal Development. Area E includes a heavy writing requirement, which you'll meet by writing persuasive arguments about course topics for different audiences and by publishing your work in different formats. We redesigned the course to help you meet the Area E requirements and did our best to make it fun. Spring 2023 will be our first time teaching this version of the class and our first time teaching it in Canvas, so let us know if anything is unclear. We are excited to join you on your journey!
