All sales are conducted in accordance with Houston Rabbits And More's Sales Policy, regardless of whether the buyer has read it or not. By purchasing a rabbit from us, you are agreeing to comply with our Sales Policy.
Houston Rabbits and More will never knowingly sell a sick, injured or unhealthy rabbit. When meeting, we advise you to check over your bunny and make sure you feel comfortable with their health as all sales are final and we do not offer a guarantee due to the fragile health of rabbits.
Something as simple as being overheated, being given too many vegetables or fruits, not being fed regularly, not having enough water, being dropped, startled, or your rabbit getting wet can cause serious complications, and even death. Due to this, we cannot guarantee the health of your bunny once it leaves our care, however we do offer lifetime support and advice for the life of your bunny. When placing a deposit on a bunny, deposits are not transferable or refundable so please be sure that you want the bunny you selected. You will receive a receipt once the deposit is made.
When reserving a bunny, we require a deposit of at least half of the final cost. If something happens to your bunny while in our care, the deposit is 100% refundable under this circumstance only.
Once you have chosen your bunny and placed a deposit, you can expect to receive pictures and updates on your bunny at least twice a week.
The meeting date and location will be discussed before the deposit is paid. We try to be as flexible as possible and usually have no issues with changing plans for meeting if needed as long as we receive notice at least 48 hours prior.
If you are unable to meet or pickup your bunny within 2 days of the agreed upon date, there will be a $5 per day boarding fee which must be paid in full before meeting.
Buyer must agree to
Give appropriate housing, medical treatment and humane living conditions for the entire time the rabbit is under Buyer's care.
Rabbit must never be abandoned, dumped or let loose.
Buyer must agree not to intentionally get the rabbit wet, hold the rabbit in an unsafe manner (by ears, without supporting back legs, or without care from high distances).
I can usually meet in the Houston and surrounding areas.
Any transport needs are arranged by the Buyer. I'm happy to work with the Buyer and offer advice and information on transport they may want to use, but the buyer is responsible for transport and all fees associated with transport . Once the rabbit(s) leave my care, I am no longer responsible.
