The Houston High School Student Government Association (SGA), advocates for the student body and helps create a welcoming environment. By participating, students can gather feedback from their peers and organize events like school dances, pep rallies, and spirit weeks. This involvement teaches accountability, academic integrity, and leadership skills.

HHS SGA is proudly affiliated with TASC, which upholds the legitimacy of our student government. Through TASC, we gain valuable leadership skills and earn prestigious awards. Over the years, several HHS SGA leaders have served on the TASC Executive Board, further strengthening our connection. Notably, in April 2023, HHS SGA had the honor of hosting the 75th TASC State Convention.
Class Wars
Class wars add fun and competitive spirit to the school year. Besides pep rally games, classes can earn points through fundraisers by raising the most money or bringing the most needed items. Each class is assigned a specific color.
Freshman: Orange
Sophomores: Blue
Juniors: Yellow
Seniors: Pink
