In the spring semester we offer Master Class Series with guest teachers and a wide variety of classes.
Classes offered include Character Dance, Classical Coaching, Variations, Ballet Technique and Pas de Deux.
Classes are session based on Saturdays from January 10th through May 3rd. See full schedule below.
All Academy Pre-Pro students in Levels 3-10 can register to study with these guest teachers.

To enroll, please log into PowerSchool parent portal
Click on “Forms” on the side menu
Select 2026 Spring Master Class Series Registration Form and fill it out!
You can enroll in one or all of the sessions

Ballet Technique
Ballet Technique
Character Dance: a specific subdivision of classical dance. It is the stylized representation of a traditional folk or national dance, mostly from European countries, and uses movements and music which have been adapted for theatre.

Musical Theater: students learn theatrical performance technique that combines acting, singing, dancing, and spoken dialogue to tell a story.

Pas de Deux: students learn partnering technique for classical ballet.

Body Conditioning: students learn and execute exercises to increase strength, mobility and stability to support classical ballet technique.

Pointe Workshop: students will learn from a highly sought after pointe curriculum that emphasizes strength and high articulation in pointe work.

Contemporary: students will learn a mixture of ballet and modern technique which allows for an opportunity of improvisation, freedom of movement and expression.

Variations: students are coached in a solo dance from of a major classical ballet in Houston Ballet’s repertoire.
