By downloading or using the application, these terms and conditions will automatically apply to you – so you should make sure to read them carefully before using the application. You are not allowed to copy or modify the application, any part of the application, or our trademarks in any way. You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the application, and you must not try to translate the application into other languages or create derivative versions. The application itself, as well as all trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, always belong to Verve Technologies.
Verve Technologies is committed to ensuring that the application is as useful and efficient as possible. For this reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the application or charge for its services at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the application or its services without clearly stating what you are paying for.
The HouseWatt application stores and processes the personal data you have provided to us in order to provide our service. It is your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the application secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by your device's official operating system. This could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and may mean that the HouseWatt application will not function properly or at all.

Google Play Services
You should be aware that there are certain things for which Verve Technologies does not assume any responsibility. Some features of the application will require the application to have an active Internet connection. The connection may be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider, but Verve Technologies cannot be held responsible for the application not working with all its features if you do not have access to Wi-Fi or if you do not have any remaining data allocation.
If you use the application outside of a Wi-Fi area, please be aware that the terms of your contract with your mobile carrier will still apply. As a result, your mobile carrier may charge you for the data usage during the connection when accessing the application or other third-party charges. By using the application, you accept responsibility for these fees, including roaming data charges if you use the application outside your home territory (i.e., a region or country) without disabling data roaming. If you are not the payer for the bill of the device on which you are using the application, please note that we assume you have received permission from the bill payer to use the application.
Similarly, Verve Technologies cannot always assume responsibility for how you use the application, meaning you must ensure that your device stays charged – if it runs out of battery and you cannot turn it on to benefit from the service, Verve Technologies cannot accept responsibility.
Regarding Verve Technologies’ liability concerning your use of the application, it is important to keep in mind that although we strive to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate at all times, we rely on third parties to provide information so we can make it available to you. Verve Technologies accepts no responsibility for any loss, direct or indirect, that you may suffer by relying entirely on this functionality of the application.
At any point, we may wish to update the application. The application is currently available on the App Store: system requirements (and any additional system to which we decide to extend the availability of the application) may change, and you will need to download the updates if you wish to continue using the application. Verve Technologies does not promise to always update the application so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the version of iOS you have installed on your device. However, you agree to always accept the application updates when they are offered to you. We may also wish to stop providing the application and discontinue its use at any time without prior notice of termination. Unless stated otherwise by us, in the event of termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the application and (if necessary) delete it from your device.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions
We may update our terms and conditions from time to time. Therefore, it is advised to periodically review this page for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms and conditions on this page.
