We believe that music brings people together, that diversity makes communities stronger, and that the night belongs to those who dare to embrace it.

What Goth means to me....

Sure, it's fashion and music, but it's more than that.

For me, "to be Goth" means to embrace your shadow self... to accept that you have dark corners in your mind, depression, anger, perhaps a little perversion, perhaps a little (or a lot) of weird thoughts...

And to be a Gothic community is to accept each other for those things. To come as we are, stepping out of the shadows, and being our true selves, our whole selves, embracing the dark and the light.

This is why the House of Scorpio's motto is about Death, embracing the darkness; Sex in whatever form works for you; and Magic, because embracing your shadow self, working in duality, is a magical practice.
