This Privacy Policy describes how the House Heroes application (hereinafter referred to as the "App") collects, uses, and protects your information. The privacy of you and your children is our absolute priority, and the App is built with a strict "Privacy by Design" approach.

1. Data Collection and Cloud Synchronization (Google Firebase)

The App was designed with the utmost respect for user privacy. We do not sell, rent, or monetize any personal information, photos, or family data entered into the App.

• Local Storage: If you do not sign in to enable Cloud Synchronization, all data (children's profile names, daily tasks, rewards, points/coins, and journal entries) is saved exclusively locally on your device.

• Cloud Synchronization (Google Firebase): If you choose to sign in (using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In) to synchronize your family's calendar across devices via a Family Code (HERO-XXXX), your data is securely stored and synchronized through Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage), encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

2. Permissions, Photos & Push Notifications

• Account Sign-In (OAuth): When you sign in with Google or Apple, the App only uses your basic account identifier (email address and display name) to authenticate your devices and link members to your private family group.

• Task Verification & Journal Photos: The App optionally allows taking photos to verify completed tasks or save memories in the Family Journal. Task verification photos are strictly temporary and are automatically deleted from Firebase Cloud Storage upon task rejection or within 24–48 hours. Journal photos remain securely stored in your private family account until deleted by the parent.

• Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging): Device tokens are used exclusively via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver real-time family alerts (completed tasks, parent approvals, and reward milestones).

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers. The App contains 100% no advertisements, no behavioral tracking, and no ad-profiling tools. Any data sharing occurs strictly between the authenticated devices of your own family members that you explicitly invite or connect using your private Family Code (HERO-XXXX).

4. Data Deletion & Right to be Forgotten (GDPR / Account Deletion)

You have full control over your data and can permanently and irreversibly delete your account and all associated Cloud data (profiles, tasks, photos in Firebase Storage, family code, and Firebase Authentication record) at any time through either of the following methods:

• Directly Inside the App (Instant Deletion): Open the App, go to Settings → Cloud Sync, tap the red button "Delete Account & Cloud Data (Right to be Forgotten)", and confirm. All your Cloud data and account will be permanently erased immediately.

• By Email Request (If You Uninstalled the App): Send an email request to eroiicasei@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, and we will permanently erase your account and all associated Cloud data within 48 hours.

• Local Data: Uninstalling the App from your device immediately removes all locally stored data.

5. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date at the top of the document.
