Code.org's Hour of Code takes place every year during Computer Science Education Week, which this year is December 3-9. The goal is to get as many people as possible to commit to an hour of coding. The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching over 100 million students in over 180 countries! The hope is that this event will introduce even more people to coding and raise awareness about the importance of computer science education.
