Agreement to Terms and Conditions for Dog Boarding/Daycare Services

By booking dog boarding or daycare services with Hounds Unlimited, you agree to the following terms and conditions, including the cancellation policy, health and safety requirements, and liability terms:

Booking and Payment

A reservation for dog boarding or daycare will only be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment.

The balance of payment must be made before or on the day of drop-off unless otherwise agreed.

We accept: credit/debit cards (service fees may apply), cash and e-transfers.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we try to be as flexible as possible. However, please be aware of the following cancellation policy:

More than 7 days before the reservation date: Full refund of any deposit paid.

Less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before the reservation date: 50% of the deposit is refunded.

Less than 48 hours before the reservation date: No refund of deposit.

No Show: If you fail to show up for the scheduled drop-off without prior notice, the full amount of the booking will be charged.

In the case of unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate changes. However, please notify us as early as possible if you need to alter your reservation.

Health and Safety

Ensuring the safety and well-being of your dog is our priority. Please adhere to the following health and safety requirements:

Vaccination Requirements: All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, and Bordetella (kennel cough). We may require proof of vaccination upon check-in.

Health Status: If your dog is showing signs of illness or has a contagious condition, please do not bring them in for boarding or daycare. We reserve the right to refuse service if we suspect your dog has a contagious illness.

Flea/Tick Prevention: We recommend that all dogs be treated for fleas and ticks before their stay.

Behavioral Assessments: We conduct an initial behavioral assessment to ensure your dog’s compatibility with other pets. Dogs with aggressive tendencies may not be admitted to daycare or boarding services.

Emergency Medical Care: In the event of illness or injury during their stay, we will contact your listed emergency vet and/or seek immediate veterinary care if needed. You are responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred.

By submitting this booking, you confirm that your dog is in good health, has all necessary vaccinations, and is free from contagious diseases.

Liability

Liability for Injury or Illness: While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and care of your dog, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of leaving a dog in a boarding or daycare facility. This includes the risk of injury, illness, or even death due to other animals, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances.

Release of Liability: You agree to release Hounds Unlimited, its staff, and associated personnel from any liability for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that may occur during your dog’s stay, except in cases of negligence or willful harm by Hounds Unlimited.

Property Damage: You are financially responsible for any damage caused by your dog to property or facilities during their stay.

Behavioral Issues: If your dog demonstrates aggressive or unsafe behavior, we reserve the right to remove them from group activities or daycare. We will attempt to contact you if any issues arise.

Agreement and Acknowledgment

By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and understood the above terms and conditions. You agree to abide by the policies outlined, including the cancellation policy, health and safety requirements, and release of liability.
