The PTO is looking for parent volunteers in the following positions for next school year, 2021/22:
SIMCO is an advisory body of parents and educators who review, advise and endorse the Houghton School Improvement Plan, review the building base budget and the annual parent survey results. The council meets 8 times a year, usually the 3rd Tuesday of the month, for about an hour.
The Enrichment Coordinator position is responsible for working with Mr. Cipro to decide on, pursue and organize educational events, programs, demonstrations, etc. to further the learning for students throughout the school year.
If you are interested in either of these positions, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org asap. Voting for these positions will take place during the June 8th meeting.
Re-election of the following positions will also be voted on during the June 8th meeting: Co-chair (2), Secretary and Treasurer.
