The Philosophy Club strives to promote open and peaceful discussions about some of our most fundamental but deep concepts such as ethics, knowledge, truth, logic, time, meaning, value, and existence. Our club is centered around respectful and engaging conversations where everyone's thoughts and ideas are welcomed. Additionally, we will analyze the ideas and thoughts of great philosophers and apply them to modern-day issues. Whether you enjoy exploring moral questions, challenging societal norms, or simply appreciate thought-provoking discussions, our club offers a place to express your ideas and gain new insight into diverse ideas and perspectives in a friendly and welcoming environment. We value all viewpoints and seek to encourage critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the world we live in.
We will meet once or twice a month depending on the month. Meetings will be held at 2:30 in A124.
Peaceful discussions and debates about philosophical topics and questions, analysis of the works and ideas of great philosophers in our history, exploring the applications of philosophy.
No prior knowledge about philosophy is needed- just an interest in deep thinking and meaningful discussion. No dues or requirements, anyone is welcome to join :)
