Welcome to HotShot! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Ignite Stream Club ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the HotShot mobile application (the "App").
By downloading and using HotShot, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
To provide a matchmaking experience, we must collect certain information about you.
A. Information You Provide to Us Directly:
Account Data: When you register, we collect your phone number, email address, name, date of birth (you must be 18+ to use HotShot), and password.
Profile Information: Information you add to your profile, including photos, gender, preferences, biography, interests, and location.
Communications: Messages, photos, or other content you send to other users within the App.
Customer Support: Information you provide when contacting our support team.
B. Information Collected Automatically:
Device Information: We collect device-specific information such as operating system, unique device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, Google Advertising ID), and mobile network information.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including access times, features used, and interactions with other users.
Location Data: With your explicit permission, we collect your precise or approximate location to connect you with nearby users. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To create and manage your HotShot account.
To provide matchmaking services and display your profile to other relevant users.
To facilitate communication between matched users.
To ensure the safety and security of our users (e.g., moderating content, preventing fraud, and banning abusive accounts).
To analyze app usage and improve our features and user experience.
To send you important administrative notices or updates regarding the App.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following situations:
With Other Users: Your public profile information (name, photos, bio, approximate location) is visible to other users on the App to facilitate matchmaking.
With Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party services that help us operate the App (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, SMS verification services). These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ignite Stream Club, our users, or others.
We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and maintain the safety of the platform.
Account and Data Deletion: You have the right to delete your account and personal data at any time.
In-App: You can delete your account by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account within the HotShot app.
Via Web: You can request account and data deletion by emailing us directly at ignitestreamclub01@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". (Note: If you build a web page specifically for deletion requests, you should add that link here).
Upon deletion, your profile will no longer be visible to other users. We will delete your personal data from our active systems, except for data we are legally required to retain.
HotShot may request the following device permissions to function correctly:
Camera & Gallery: To allow you to upload profile pictures or send photos in chat.
Location: To find matches near you.
Notifications: To alert you of new matches and messages.
You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
HotShot is strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete the account and the associated data.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
