Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 29, 2026
At DelevauxDev, we believe your mental health should be entirely private. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when you use the Hot Thoughts mobile application.
1. Data Collection and Storage
All data you enter into Hot Thoughts stays on your device.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal reflections, emotions, or data to external servers.
Your data is stored locally in an encrypted-at-rest database on your mobile device.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.
2. Data Ownership
You own 100% of your data. We have no access to it.
Exporting Data: You may choose to export your reflections via PDF or the Share feature. This action is entirely controlled by you and uses your device's native sharing capabilities.
Biometric Lock: If enabled, the app uses your device’s internal security systems (FaceID/Fingerprint) to restrict access. We do not have access to your biometric data.
3. Data Deletion
Since all data is stored on your device, deleting the app will permanently delete all your entries. You can also use the "Delete All Thoughts" feature within the app settings to wipe your data at any time.
4. Professional Disclaimer
Hot Thoughts is a self-help tool, not a medical device.
This app is designed to help you organize your thoughts based on cognitive-behavioral principles. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Use of this app does not establish a therapist-patient relationship.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or thinking about self-harm, please contact emergency services or a qualified mental health professional immediately.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Since we do not collect any user contact information, we recommend reviewing this policy within the app or repository periodically.
