Upstate Warrior Solution is a community-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to assisting warriors in their emotional, financial, and physical readjustment here at home. The impact of this organization spans a plethora of issues such as financial counseling in order to find housing, bridging the gap between the VA and DOD, assisting through career planning and occupational searches, and the reunion of families through therapy and planned activities. Upstate Warrior Solution defines a warrior as any person who is currently serving or has served in the United States military, regardless of military branch, nature of discharge, or current life situation. Upstate Warrior Solution has served more than 1,347 warriors and family members in the last year and thousands more since its establishment in 2013 by the Upstate South Carolina Patriots. This organization originally had its headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, but later expanded into facilities in Clemson and Spartanburg and now collaborates with five districts including Greenville, Anderson, Pickens, Oconee, and Spartanburg.
Upstate Warrior Solution reports that it has helped, “171 warriors with educational services, 186 enter the civilian workforce, and 181 homeless/at-risk warriors with emergency, transitional, stable, and safe housing.” President Charlie Hall stated, “We planned, organized or attended more than 210 educational, recreational, and community based events across the upstate with the goal of providing opportunities and cultivating collaborative relationships to improve the quality of life for local warriors.” Mr. Hall insists on the support of local communities in order to expand their impact and outreach in hopes of leaving no warrior behind.
We are committed to these events in order to further the impact of Upstate Warrior Solution.
