Host Recruitment and Verification Process
Effective June 4, 2025, a quicker and easier process for host recruitment and verification has been introduced. This applies to all newly recruited hosts from June 4 onwards.
HOST VERIFICATION FAQs 🚨
Q: When is this new process effective?
A: The new process is effective June 4, 2025.
Q: Is the host still required to sign the VERIFICATION after becoming an official host?
A: YES! The host MUST sign the VERIFICATION in order to cash out.
*The host details submitted by the agency manager in the 'Submit Information' process must match the details provided by the host when completing Verification.
Q: How can a host complete the VERIFICATION process?
A: Go to Me Icon » Tap Creator Center » Select the Live tab » Tap My Contract Status » Click "Verification".
Q: How will I know if my host passed the VERIFICATION?
A: The host will receive a notification that says "Your verification has been approved".
Q: If my host has not signed the VERIFICATION yet, will it affect their status as an official host and make them unable to earn host commission?
A: No, it will not affect the host’s official status, live data, or their entitlement to receive monthly commission, rewards, and other earnings. The only catch is that the host will not be eligible to cash out unless verified.
Q: What about my old hosts from before June 4, 2025? Do they need to do this VERIFICATION?
A: A different process applies to official hosts from before June 4, 2025. This is called the "Reassessment of Verification."
REASSESSMENT OF VERIFICATION OF OLD OFFICIAL HOSTS (BEFORE JUNE 4, 2025) 📲 🔍
To ensure that all official hosts comply with real account ownership and the required legal age, a reassessment of the 'Verification' of all official host accounts will be performed by the end of June 2025.
Reassessment will be based on, but not limited to, the following reasons:
Mismatched ID details (name, birthdate, ID number, etc.)
Unclear uploaded documents (IDs or photos)
Falsified or edited documents
Usage of someone else's ID
Other reasons
Due to the significant number of official hosts, the reassessment will be conducted gradually by batch. The first batch of rejections following the reassessment took place on Friday, June 30. All hosts who failed the reassessment received a heads-up notification from BIGO ID: PHHOST on Friday, June 27 (and for some, earlier today, Monday, June 30), informing them that their account failed the verification reassessment.
Later in the afternoon of Monday, June 30, 2025, an official message from the BIGO LIVE Team (BIGO ID: bigolive) was sent to all hosts who failed the reassessment, stating the specific reason(s) why their account failed the reassessment.
*The verification reassessment of existing hosts was announced and discussed during the Agency Huddle held on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Q: When was the reassessment of hosts (before June 4, 2025) announced?
A: It was announced during the Agency Huddle held on Friday, June 20, 2025. A copy of the presentation was provided in all agency tier GCs. You may also access it here: https://sites.google.com/view/agencyhuddle06202025/home
Q: Who are the hosts included in the reassessment of verification?
A: All hosts who were verified before June 4, 2025. During the reassessment, some hosts may pass while others may fail. Hosts who fail the reassessment will have their verification rejected. Reassessment will be done gradually by batch.
Q: When will the rejection of those who failed the reassessment occur?
A: As stated in the announcement, "The first batch will take place by the end of June 2025." This occurred on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Q: How will I know if my host failed the reassessment?

Q: My host is listed. Does my host need to do VERIFICATION again?
A: Yes. Guide your host to follow this path: Go to Me Icon » Tap Creator Center » Select the Live tab » Tap My Contract Status » Click "Verification".
Q: My host is not listed. Does my host need to do VERIFICATION again?
A: No. If your host is not on the list, it means they either passed the reassessment, were considered safe during the first batch, or may be part of the next batch of reassessment.
***Note: Please take note that some hosts may have also received a verification rejection notice on Monday, June 30, but are not listed on the link. Advise the host to check their 'My Contract Status' — if they see the VERIFICATION button, they must re-verify to be eligible for cash out.
Q: How will I know if my host passed the VERIFICATION?
A: The host will receive a notification that says "Your verification has been approved".
Q: If my host already passed the verification, is it required to verify every month?
A: No. Once a host has passed the verification, they are considered verified and are already eligible for cash out. Verification is only required once.
Q: If my host has not signed the VERIFICATION yet, will it affect their status as an official host and make them unable to earn host commission?
A: No, it will not affect the host’s official status, live data, or their entitlement to receive monthly commission, rewards, and other earnings. The only catch is that the host will not be eligible to cash out unless verified.
Q: Will the Contract Status (Cooperation date) of my host change if they process the verification?
A: No. Contract Status and VERIFICATION are different. The contract end date stays the same. The purpose of verification is only for eligibility for cash out, it does not affect the contract in any way.
NOTIFICATIONS:
A message was sent from BIGO ID: PHHOST on Friday, June 27 (and for some, early on Monday, June 30) to give rejected hosts a heads-up that their account failed the reassessment of verification.

Wednesday, June 4, 2025 – The new host recruitment and verification process was announced.
Friday, June 20, 2025 – The "Reassessment of Verification" of old hosts (before June 4, 2025) was announced during the Agency Huddle.
Friday, June 27, 2025 (and for some, early on Monday, June 30) – Hosts who failed the "Reassessment of Verification of old hosts (before June 4)" received a heads-up message from BIGO ID: PHHOST informing them that their account failed the verification reassessment.
Monday, June 30, 2025 – The rejections for hosts who failed the reassessment occurred, along with a message from the BIGO LIVE Team (BIGO ID: bigolive) stating the specific reason(s) for the rejection.
Tuesday, July 7, 2025 - An announcement was made across all Agency Tier GCs and other agency-related GCs that the reassessment of verification for old hosts (before June 4, 2025) has been suspended, effective Monday, July 7, 2025, until further notice.
Wednesday, September 10, 2025 - Reassessment of the agency ‘Verification’ for all official agency accounts started.
Thursday, September 11, 2025 - Resumption of "Reassessment of Verification" of old hosts (before June 4, 2025).
