Hostel Duniya Partner is a platform designed for hostel owners, PG operators, and property partners to manage their properties, receive student enquiries, manage subscriptions, and grow their business through the Hostel Duniya platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you access or use the App.
By downloading, registering for, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the App.
This Privacy Policy applies to hostel owners, PG operators, property managers, and authorized partners who use Hostel Duniya Partner to:
Create and manage a partner account.
List, update, and manage hostel or PG properties.
Receive and manage student enquiries and visit schedules.
Purchase subscriptions and unlock student lead contact information.
Make payments and manage wallet transactions through the App.
We collect information necessary to provide, maintain, and improve our services.
When you register or sign in, we may collect:

One-Time Password (OTP) verification details

To create and verify your account, we may collect:

Residential or business address
Government-issued ID type (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License)

Your profile and property information are stored on Hostel Duniya servers to operate the partner platform and student-facing services.
Payments are securely processed through Razorpay.
Razorpay may collect payment-related information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. Hostel Duniya does not store your complete payment credentials.
We use Google Maps to display and manage property locations. Google may process location-related information according to its own Privacy Policy.
We may engage trusted third-party providers for:

OTP delivery

These providers are authorized to process your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

You agree to use this information solely for legitimate accommodation-related communication.
You must not:
Sell or distribute student information.
Use the information for unrelated marketing.
Send unsolicited communications.
Harass or misuse student data.
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.
You may deactivate your account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone → Deactivate Account within the App.
Once your account is deactivated:
You will be signed out immediately.
Your account will become inactive.
You will not be able to log in unless your account is reactivated.
Your hostel listings will no longer be visible to students on the Hostel Duniya platform.
If you wish to restore your account, you may contact Hostel Duniya Support within 30 days of deactivation.
Subject to verification and our internal policies, your account may be reactivated and access restored.
If your account remains deactivated for 30 consecutive days, we will permanently delete your account and associated personal information, including:
Profile information
Property listings
Uploaded photographs
Student lead data associated with your account
Wallet and account information, except where retention is required by law
After permanent deletion, your account cannot be restored. You must register as a new partner to use the App again.
Even after deletion, we may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:
Payment and transaction records
Tax and accounting records
Legal compliance records
Fraud prevention records
Anonymized or aggregated data that does not identify you
Signing out only ends your current session.
Deactivating your account initiates the account deletion process described above.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:

The App may integrate with or provide access to third-party services, including payment gateways, mapping services, and other external platforms.
