The Horry County Pearls, Inc., is a 501(c)3, non-profit foundation in affiliation with Mu Iota Omega Chapter (hereafter MIO) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Our purpose is to provide charitable and education programs and activities to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Horry County South Carolina. The organization operates as the MIO Center.
