In his riveting romance/fantasy series, Robin Sharp introduces readers to the spectacular realm of Vriago and his warrior companionship with the dark magical realm of Horoskop 2021. The book begins as the sun is setting on Vriago's twenty-first anniversary. He takes an afternoon nap on the porch leading him to a secluded clearing where he communes with his spirit guide, Jhessa. Together they share their deepest secrets and long-guarded information about the nature of their relationship and life in general. Robin reveals his greatest love, his daughter Flora, and tells of the death of her unborn child. He then relates his discoveries about the mystical forces that can alter history, including the return of the elvish ambassador, Skjelleron, to Earth and the impending clash between elves and drakons at the Deveron Keep.
The next morning, Robin, Jhessa and Flora prepare for battle as the sun rises over horizon. But as the sun melts into the earth, a massive elk appears out of nowhere and attacks the party. Only Corin, the elk's human guide, seems able to help the group and, after some duress by way of magic, save the day.
Following a series of events, including the accidental destruction of the elk, the party escapes to the safety of a ship moored at the Deveron Keep. The crew prepares to leave, but Yendi arrives in a magical force, bringing news of a terrible threat: dragons. With help from the warrior princess, Flora, and her new bete noir companion, Zalto, the party escapes to safety once again.
Returning to the world of Gothia, the group discovers that the elk are planning to attack Tigan before sunset. Before they can react, the elk assault the village of Hla Oece, killing many residents before they flee into the city. In order to stop the elk, the group must defeat the formidable dragonlord, Krakagas, and enter the ancient ruin of Horoskop 2021 to defeat the Horoskop.
With help from a mysterious warrior princess, the party battles through the ruined city and fights its way through the temple to reach the elk. However, when the warriors enter the temple, they find that it has been turned into a giant prison where the elk are being held. The heroes enter, and after battling the dragon lord, they finally win. The heroes then defeat Krakagas and warn the kingdom of the terrible danger approaching, which prompts the king to build a wall around the land. Horoskop Gothia is a very fun game to play, and is one of the best examples of early 2000s computer RPGs.
