Bookable one hour escape room challenges
Come to Horninghold for a unique escape room challenge.
Accused of witchcraft, your team must solve puzzles, uncover evidence, and escape before the trial ends and you're found guilty. Welcoming groups of up to 6.
England, 1709. Fear has fallen over Horninghold. Crops have failed, a wave of sudden illness and unexplainable thefts have occurred, and whispers of witchcraft spread through the village after dark. Neighbours turn against neighbours, suspicion grows with every passing night, and now the accusations have reached you.
Under suspicion of witchcraft, you and your companions have been locked inside the ancient walls of St Peter’s Church, until the mob arrives at dawn to put you to the swimming test.
But all is not as it seems. Hidden somewhere within the church lies evidence that could expose the truth behind the accusations and prove your innocence - you can uncover it in time.
Four villagers have already been found guilty of witchcraft, but they have clues and insights to help you escape. But beware of the fanatical vicar, the Rev Humphrey Michel, who is determined to put you to trial.
Working together, you must solve cryptic clues, uncover hidden secrets, and explore the historic church in a completely new way as you race against time to escape before sunrise. Will you reveal the truth and escape judgement, or become part of Horninghold’s dark history forever?
