North Carolina Concealed Handgun Carry Class

North Carolina has in place a Concealed Carry Handgun law that allows qualifying citizens of our State the opportunity to obtain a permit to carry a concealed handgun. As a provision of this legislation, the individual must complete a required training program in the use of deadly force, carrying a concealed handgun and demonstrate proficiency in the use of the handgun.

Course Requirements

• Course must be a minimum of eight hours long plus the range qualification time.

• The legal block of instruction must be a minimum of two hours in length.

• A written legal examination is required.

• A shooting proficiency examination is required.  The course of fire must be a minimum of 30 rounds with 10 rounds fired from the three-yard line, 10 rounds fired from the five-yard line, and 10 rounds fired from the seven-yard line.

With the right under the law to carry a concealed handgun, comes a tremendous responsibility.  The owner of a handgun must have complete knowledge of handgun safety, knowledge of the laws regarding the use of force, and the ability to use the firearm safely and in a responsible manner. (NCDOJ)

The Qualification will take place at the Foothills Shooting Complex of Cleveland County

We provide the firearms, ammunition and safety equipment.

Basic Handgun Class

If you want to practice more of the hands-on knowledge you've learned in the North Carolina Concealed Carry Class or become more comfortable handling a handgun then this class is for you.  This is a four-hour class that targets the basic fundamentals of handling and shooting your handgun so you can become more experienced and at ease with shooting.  This class will lead you to a greater feeling of success and accomplishment when handling your firearm which will translate into being more knowledgeable and competent.

Individual Firearms Training Class- One on One

Do you have a firearm that you would like to become more accurate with?  Schedule a time to complete one on one sessions with me to sharpen your fundamentals.  We will work on your grip, stance, sight alignment/sight picture, trigger control, follow-through, and breath control.   The minimum scheduling time is two hours.   Available upon request.

Cost $40.00 an Hour, Minimum of Two Hours. If you need a firearm, I will provide one for an additional $80.00 (Ammunition included)
