Covid-19 School Closure
Enrichment activities for all students can be found on the Classes tab. For students in middle and high school, additional materials will be provided on Google Classroom. Students have been emailed instructions for joining their classes.
OVERVIEW AND PHILOSOPHY
The Hadley Elementary and Hopkins Academy Schools Instrumental/Choral Music Department is open to every student in grades k-12 (choral) 3-12 (band) who chooses to pursue training in the art of making music. The Music program has a tradition of excellence stemming from it’s pursuit of perfection and the high expectations. The department was founded on the principals of expanding opportunities for the students in Hadley while also instilling a love for music.
Through participation in the music program, students develop lifelong skills including dedication, commitment, responsibility, cooperation and the appreciation of what hard work can achieve. All of this is developed in a flexible, supportive, and responsive learning environment.
