Hope Medical Transport and Training is always accepting applications for EMT's.
We are a young company that has been in business almost four years. We have built this company from the ground up. This includes all aspects of the business, including but not limited to a fully functioning billing and scheduling system that were created and are maintained in house. We have experienced many hurdles but have always come out on top. Earlier this year, we completely restructured both inside and outside giving us the ability to meet the needs of our community in a wider scope. Through trials, we are becoming better equipped to accomplish our mission of providing excellent service in patient care. We have built excellent relationships within our community and are constantly adding services that benefit the community.
We are seeking individuals who can appreciate the HPWS or the High Performance Work System. We do not micromanage here at Hope, we give you the freedom to express yourself as an EMT as long as you follow protocol. We take a different approach than the standard EMS company because we value individuality and the passion and compassion that comes along with that individuality. The HPWS mindset does not title all positions in management but every employee takes a part of the whole process. Priority will be given to EMT's who have the ability to be different.
At this time, we will only consider SC State Certified EMT's, EMT's that hold a current certification in a different state that have the ability to become a NREMT within a year, and students who are currently enrolled in an EMT program and can be fully certified within 6 months. Individuals whom are not already enrolled in an EMT program will not be considered at this time.
While we do not have a Continuing Education program, however, our training division offers free courses to ensure that your EMT certification never expires. For fulltime employees, the schedule rotation will be MWF 12-14 hour shifts rotating every other week with TTHS 12-14 hour shifts, averaging 36-42 hours per week at the pay rate of $16.50-$19.00 an hour depending on experience. Part time hours are available as well. We have a steady patient load, and find ourselves having to turn patients away due to being scheduled so far out.
Working with our family also comes with benefits not typically seen in EMS. We are a family owned and operated company that makes our employee's families a priority. We see the value in loyal employee's and we strive to focus on the whole employee with our unique benefit's package.
With this being said, we do offer options/assistance with childcare to qualified individuals who join our family. We also have the ability to offer homeschool curriculum for grades 6-12 created by a former certified teacher through our homeschool cooperative, Hope Academy, free of charge to employees. Hope Academy helps make it possible to homeschool and provide for your family simultaneously.
Outside of childcare, we have found very affordable health insurance and can offer assistance in finding the right plan for you. Additionally, employees are offered discounts on vehicle parts and tire services through several partnerships in the area.
If you are interested in joining our family please email Crystal Martin at crystalmartin@hopemedtransandtrain.com.
