~painted rocks of inspiration~
Heavenly Father has given me a lot of chances, so I wanted to give something back, give something away. Do something that has meaning.
I also wanted to involve my wife and our little guy to reach out to make the world just a little brighter, a handful at a time, a scripture at a time, a smile at a time.
We'd seen painted rocks in several places, and were smitten with the idea. Now: how to make the idea our own. Well, those who know me and know me well know I love fire hydrants. That's an easy one: fire hydrants=water of life that will never allow you to thirst. I'm also fond of bread. More than somewhat. There: bread=bread of life. So, there are the first two ideas, the first two designs. Hydrants and bread.
More ideas will occur to us. More stones will come to our hands, begging for different ideas, different inspirations. God's like that. Turning the most ordinary into the extraordinary. Not that it's by our design. Strictly the hand of God, moving in us.
So, if you've found a HopeRocksCarlisle painted rock, go to Facebook and look us up: @HopeRocksCarlisle. Snap a picture with your phone, upload it, and tell us where you found it, what it means to you (if you will) and either hang onto it for whatever reason you will, or, re-place it for someone else to find. Heck, take it on your next trip. See how far it travels.
May you be blessed, may you be well, and may you be prosperous!
