That night I asked the Lord to give me His heart for the Jewish people - not their heart or even my own heart, but His heart for the Jewish people. In the days that followed, the Lord answered my prayer through the Scriptures. I was particularly impressed by Romans 1:16 and Paul's example in the book of Acts.

It is my prayer that the Lord will continue to give us His heart to reach all people with the Gospel which is "the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. " "

Craig McFadden serves on the leadership team of Hope in Messiah. Craig and his wife Judy are a valuable part of the congregation and are active in many roles.

Judy and I believe that salvation for both Jewish and Gentile people is available only through Yeshua Ha Mashiach through His finished atoning work on the cross. 1 Cor.15:1-4, Rom.3:25-26. In 2001, when we began praying for God's Biblical truth, many Messianic prophesies began to be revealed to us. In 2014, our prayers to find a Messianic congregation were finally answered with our first visit to Hope in Messiah. We hold precious the Word of the God of Israel.

Connie Embry has served in the role of bookkeeper and treasurer for Hope in Messiah for more than 20 years. She, along with her late husband Jerry, were early members of the congregation.

"Having come from a somewhat legalistic background I found that at Hope in Messiah I learned a better understanding of what God has done through His Son. The Law, the Festivals, and so on are good because God is the One who gave them. But, they were only the shadow of what was to come - a "school master" that taught us what sin was until the coming of The One Who takes away the sin of the world - Yeshua the Messiah. "
