Taking inspiration from this our HOPE lab focuses on exploring nanomaterials and their composites for healthcare and environmental applications which includes novel sustainable material preparation strategies for optical biosensing and therapeutic applications. Material preparation strategies will involve a "structure-property" relationship with the possibility of scaling up. The optical biosensing strategies will involve the exploration of innovative bio-recognition capabilities and biomarkers guided by machine learning and based on fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy, especially for patient profiling whereas therapeutic applications will be based on the exploration of novel delivery carriers in disease-mimicked conditions.
Lastly, as humans have evolved, so have diseases, and with HOPE LAB, our goal is to improve human health!!
