The classic converse shoe inspired my advertisement piece as I wanted to show off the shoe through an image-based design. The star is the main focus to draw attention to the advertisement with 4 models of different high top shoes to illustrate their similarities but also the unique differences with the brand.
My infographic focuses on the theme of MLB (Major League Baseball) in two forms. One bar graph uses baseballs to show the top 5 current teams with the most World Series wins and features their logos and team colors. The second piece made using In Design is a timeline on the past decade of World Series wins that features 8 different MLB teams from 2008-2017. Both pieces were created due to my love for the MLB and I wanted to illustrate the recent winners of the World Series along with the history. The hardest part of this infographic was taking the time to space out each baseball and ensure the lines were straight and matches the key at the bottom to make sure the infographic can speak for itself which is very important.
The various logos featured below are meant to be focused toward different groups for Central Michigan University and the class of JRN302. The groups are current students, faculty, alumni, and recruits. Each logo has its own design and theme and I tried incredibly hard to edit each design to make sure they are unique and look great and be memorable.
My final piece for this portfolio is a WET Layout I created to give 3 special Michigan cities a spotlight: Mackinac Island, Detroit, and Traverse City. Each section of the design is symmetrical to the next but they have their differences. I combined photographs and text in order to draw the reader in and enjoy the visually pleasing design. Each city has something different to offer and the Michigan logo at the bottom ties the piece together.
