Aside from the Reading Nooks in each room, learners have the privilege of using the school libraries under the terms and conditions set in each library. The media center may only be used under the supervision of a teacher. Photocopying and printing services are likewise available.
Various sports equipment are made available for learners to use during their free time. However, any loss or damage to any equipment will be charged to student/s responsible. Loss or damage of sports equipment brought by the learner will be his sole responsibility.
Snacks will be served by the school canteen. However, students may bring their own. Junk food, candies, chocolate, gum and soft drinks are to be avoided. Learners will not be allowed to go out of the school gates to purchase their food.
Note: Learners are not allowed to sell food or other merchandise within the school campus as this activity disrupts focus on school activities. A proper time is scheduled for this under particular academic subjects and topics.
The science laboratory is progressively upgraded with supplies and equipment for practical application and experimentation in the field of science. The teacher-in-charge has to oversee learners to ensure their safety. Breakage or damage to any apparatus will be charged to student/s responsible.
The school offers activity-based tutorial and remedial classes for a fee. Tutors work in consultation with the learner’s teacher using approaches which are consistent with that of the school.
Learners needing remediation, reinforcement or enrichment in Math, Reading, Writing, Filipino or other subjects may enlist as slots are available.
Grade and high school students are taught corporate worship to God through scheduled chapel services. Also, any student needing special advice or counsel may meet with the school’s Spiritual Director voluntarily or on call.
FREE transportation service is provided to and from Taroy campus to Buyagan Church. Parents who bring their children on private cars are enjoined to “Share a Ride” to other HOPE students waiting for the school shuttle.
A ticketing system will be employed for the school shuttle service as follows:
One ticket, one passenger. No ticket, no service.
Ticket must be shown to the school driver before boarding.
Surrender ticket to the school driver at the end of each month.
Insert ticket in school ID case.
In case of loss, request replacement from the office IMMEDIATELY.
Ticket may only be used on the specified validity period.
Monthly tickets may be purchased at the office a week before the applicable month. A full-month ticket will be charged for 15 school days and above while months below 15 days will be prorated.
In order to ensure the prompt servicing of children to school, the service driver will not wait for unprepared students.
NOTE: Excessively rowdy students shall merit the sanctions under Discipline Policy # 1 before exclusion from shuttle services.
