Among the material released through the new UAP archive, NASA-UAP-VM6 — the Apollo 17 Moon Landing mission in 1972 — I find to be of interest simply due to the long standing hints from the ones that were part of that mission, movies and whistleblower testimonies over the years. The footage, recorded during humanity’s final crewed mission to the Moon, shows unidentified objects moving across the lunar horizon during surface operations near the Taurus–Littrow Valley.

The concept of divinity in Sumerian is closely associated with the heavens, as is evident from the fact that the cuneiform sign doubles as the ideogram for 'sky', and that its original shape is the picture of a star. The original association of 'divinity' is thus with 'bright' or 'shining' hierophanies in the sky.

Science tells us that the symbol of the eight pointed star relates to Venus - depicting its trajectory over the heavens as the morning star ref. Star of Ishtar.

However, myths have their origin in something tangible. We also can acknowledge that today and if we take the image shown to the right as the showcase of the sun, the moon and Venus the star, it is not the entire conclusion.
The depiction of a star does not necessarily mean the physical Venus as the only star. The Babylonian had a very elaborate understanding of astronomy and were some of the earliest civilizations to craft the ideas within Astrology.
So we could interpret the image to the right as the King being under the protection of the Sun god, the Moon god and the Gods from the Heavens.
Naturally, it could also mean being under the protection of Inanna (later became Ishtar). We do not know for sure. This is part of text analysis.
However, we have little knowledge of the original meaning of the eight pointed star. What we have are text and reliefs from later epochs where the original story had turned into myth. Narratives associating the eight pointed craft with the gods - and perhaps later attributed to the chosen preferred goddess of some king down the line.
Yet, what we do know is that it was common for the rulers at the time - as we also see it in Egypt - to associate with preferred gods or goddesses to claim sovereign power over a region.
As a made-up example: a warlord comes into power due to conquest. To legitimize his rulership, he goes to the temple of Inanna. Here he gets the priests to anoint him with the oils and the leaves of anointment (myrra). The ritual then makes the king the chosen ruler of Inanna giving him the rights to rule over that city. The goddess had approved him. Naturally, it is all religious-political arrangements and buy-off of the priests.
Remember, texts from ancient times only show cultural and epistemological interpretations from specific eras of human history.

Point being: What if the original story about the eight pointed star stem from sightings of a type of craft in ancient Sumeria?
That would make so much more sense.....right? Because of course these drones were also around in ancient time. They stem from worlds that existed long before the Holocene Period.
It is time for the scientific community to engage with the Ancient Astronaut ideas and add their skillset to the investigations.
