PRIVACY POLICY FOR HOPATE
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Bluesoft Digital ("we," "us," or "our") provides the mobile game Hopate (the "Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the Game, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you provide
The Game allows you to choose a player name for its online leaderboard. Your player name and submitted scores may be visible to other players. Please do not use your real name or include personal information in your player name.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Game, we and our service providers may automatically process information such as:
- A randomly generated anonymous player identifier;
- Game scores, leaderboard activity, progress, preferences, and other gameplay data;
- Device type, operating system, language, app version, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, and technical identifiers;
- Advertising identifiers and information about advertisements shown or interacted with;
- Diagnostic information, including crash reports, performance data, and error logs; and
- Purchase and subscription status. Payment details are processed by the relevant app store and are not received or stored by us.
Some gameplay settings and progress may be stored locally on your device.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Game;
- Provide anonymous authentication and online leaderboards;
- Save and display player names and scores;
- Show banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements;
- Process and restore in-app purchases, including the option to remove certain ads;
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
- Measure performance and understand how the Game is used; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
3. ADVERTISING
The Game uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may collect or receive device information, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, and ad interaction data. Depending on your region, device settings, age, and consent choices, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.
You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier through your device settings. Where required by law, a consent prompt may provide additional controls. Purchasing the no-ads option removes banner and interstitial ads but may not disable all data processing by services included in the Game, and rewarded ads may remain available where applicable.
For more information, review Google's privacy policy:

4. UNITY SERVICES
The Game uses Unity services for anonymous authentication and online leaderboards. Unity may process an anonymous player identifier, player name, score, IP address, device information, and related service data to provide and secure those features.
For more information, review Unity's privacy policy:
https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
5. IN-APP PURCHASES
Purchases are handled by the platform through which you downloaded the Game, such as Google Play or Apple's App Store. The platform processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive purchase-related information such as the product purchased, transaction status, and entitlement status, but not your full payment-card details.
6. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the Game and its requested features, based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Game, with your consent for activities that require it, and as necessary to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent through available in-game, device, or platform controls, without affecting processing already performed.
7. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share information:
- With service providers that help operate the Game, including Unity, Google AdMob, and app-store providers;
- When required by law, court order, or a valid governmental request;
- To protect users, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or defend legal rights; and
- As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising-related disclosures may be considered "selling," "sharing," or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Where applicable, you may exercise opt-out rights using the consent controls presented in the Game or your device's privacy settings.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing leaderboards, maintaining purchase entitlements, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and meeting legal requirements. Local gameplay data remains on your device until it is cleared, overwritten, or the Game is uninstalled. Service providers may apply their own retention periods.
9. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers. The privacy policies of the relevant providers contain further details.
11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Game is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law for a person to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age without legally valid parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
12. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information;
- Request a copy of certain information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent;
- Opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing; and
- Appeal a decision or complain to a data-protection authority.
To make a request, contact us using the address below. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify your request. Some information may be retained where legally required or where an exception applies. You may also manage certain data by clearing the Game's storage, changing device privacy settings, or uninstalling the Game.
13. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The Game may link to third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and provide any additional notice required by law. Continued use of the Game after an update means the revised Policy applies.
