If you want a dedicated audio adapter that preserves sound quality while charging your Samsung or iPhone, choose HOOTEK USB C Samsung; if you need a versatile, multi-device cable with a unique visual indicator and a single solution for your entire tech kit, choose SvyiLink USB Cable PD. This decision is especially critical for in ear headphones for glasses wearers, where the right accessory can mean the difference between a cluttered pocket and a streamlined experience. While both products aim to solve connectivity issues in modern devices without headphone jacks, they serve fundamentally different purposes: one is a precision tool for audio fidelity and simultaneous power, and the other is a flexible, all-in-one charging lifeline designed for travelers and multitaskers.
• HOOTEK USB C Samsung: Offers high-fidelity 24-bit/96kHz audio conversion with 60W fast charging pass-through, but is limited to a single device connection at a time and does not support data transfer. Best for audiophiles and professionals who need their audio and power lines separate but active simultaneously.
• SvyiLink USB Cable PD: Features a unique flowing blue light status indicator and a 3-in-1 design compatible with multiple connector types (USB-C, Lightning, Micro-USB), offering superior portability for mixed device users, though it lacks the specialized audio DAC chip of the HOOTEK. Best for travelers and households looking to eliminate cable clutter with a single, durable cord.
The HOOTEK USB C Samsung adapter is engineered for a specific, high-demand scenario: keeping your audio pristine while you replenish your battery. At just 7.94 grams and measuring a compact 0.5 x 0.7 x 0.4 inches, this black dongle is designed to be nearly invisible in your pocket or carry-on bag. Its primary strength lies in its internal architecture. By integrating a dedicated DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) chip capable of 24-bit/96kHz resolution, it ensures that the analog signal sent to your 3.5mm headphones remains stable and lossless. This is a crucial distinction for anyone using wired in ear headphones for glasses wearers, as the physical bulk of glasses frames often makes wireless alternatives uncomfortable, yet the lack of a headphone jack on modern phones forces a compromise that this adapter resolves perfectly.
This product is ideal for the user who refuses to sacrifice sound quality for convenience. The 2-in-1 functionality allows you to plug your standard 3.5mm headphones into the female port while simultaneously connecting a PD-compatible charger to the male USB-C port. The adapter supports up to 60W Power Delivery, ensuring that your Galaxy A17, S26 Ultra, or iPhone 17 Pro Max charges rapidly even while you are streaming high-resolution audio, gaming, or taking HD voice calls. The built-in technology actively manages voltage and current stability to prevent the electrical noise that often plagues cheaper adapters, delivering clear audio without the "current noise" or static that can ruin an immersive listening session.
However, this product is not for everyone. It is strictly an audio and charging bridge; it explicitly does not support data transfer. If your workflow requires syncing files or transferring large amounts of data through the adapter, this is not the tool for you. Additionally, because it is a single-purpose dongle, you will still need to manage your own cables separately. It fits best in the hands of someone who owns a dedicated set of wired headphones—perhaps best with microphone in ear headphones for conference calls—and wants to ensure those calls remain crystal clear without the interference common in lower-quality converters. It is also worth noting that compatibility extends to a vast array of devices, from Samsung's latest Z Flip and Fold series to Apple's newest iPhone models, but it requires a certified wall charger to achieve its full 60W potential.

The SvyiLink USB Cable PD takes a completely different approach by focusing on versatility and visual feedback. Rather than acting as a bridge for a single device, this 39-inch cable is designed to be the only cord you need in your daily life. Its standout feature is the flowing blue light effect that illuminates during charging. This isn't merely decorative; it serves a functional purpose by providing an immediate, intuitive readout of your charging status. When the light flows, the device is drawing power; when it stops or changes pattern, the battery is full. This visual cue is incredibly helpful for anyone who frequently charges devices overnight or uses them while plugged in, eliminating the guesswork of whether a device is actually receiving power.
The true genius of the SvyiLink lies in its 3-in-1 construction. By combining three different connector tips into one braided TPE jacket, it solves the universal problem of carrying multiple cables. Whether you are managing a smartphone, a tablet, Bluetooth earbuds, or older accessories, this single cord handles them all. The use of environmentally friendly TPE material gives the cable a flexibility and durability that surpasses standard PVC, making it resistant to the tangling and fraying that plague many cheaper cords. At 39 inches, the length strikes a balance between portability and utility, allowing you to charge comfortably from a bedside outlet or connect to a power bank while commuting. It supports both PD fast charging and data transmission, meaning it can replenish your battery quickly while also syncing your files.
This product is perfect for the minimalist traveler or the busy professional who carries a mix of devices. It is particularly well-suited for those who find themselves constantly swapping between devices with different ports. For example, if you use a tablet for work and a phone for personal tasks, having one cable that connects to both removes the friction of hunting for the right wire. However, it is important to understand that this is a direct charging cable, not an audio adapter. It does not have the specialized DAC chip found in the HOOTEK, so it cannot convert digital signals to analog audio for 3.5mm headphones. It is a pure data and power conduit. If your priority is having a single, robust cable that looks cool and works everywhere, the SvyiLink is the logical choice.

After weighing the specifications and real-world use cases, I would personally choose the HOOTEK USB C Samsung if my primary goal was maintaining a high-quality audio experience while charging my phone. For me, the ability to use my trusted wired headphones without sacrificing charging speed or introducing audio noise is non-negotiable. The dedicated DAC chip and the 60W pass-through capability make it a superior tool for anyone who relies on wired audio, including in ear headphones for glasses wearers who need the comfort and reliability of a physical connection. However, if my life revolved around carrying a chaotic bag of different cables and I needed a single, visually engaging solution for my entire ecosystem of gadgets, the SvyiLink USB Cable PD would be my pick. Ultimately, the HOOTEK wins on performance for audio-centric users, while the SvyiLink wins on versatility for general connectivity.
