Hooppine, wardrobe designers in Chennai, will guide as to how sliding door wardrobes are installed.
How many types of wardrobe shutters are available these days?
There are at least two different kinds available, like Openable hinged and sliding wardrobes depending on your needs.
Sliding door wardrobes reduce swing space for shutters since the doors slide on the track. This can be an advantage because it leaves room inside the room to use more efficiently. Sliding doors are most commonly found in two situations:
1) Small rooms with less space to move.
2) Aesthetically pleasing with large shutters.
Sliding systems can be categorised into two groups, inline and overlay.
Inline sliding systems are the best way to save space in your closet because they're embedded within the carcass. The shutters will be contained inside of it, and you can see them when some tracks show through. Inline sliding mechanisms come at a lower price range, perfect for people with civil concrete lofts on top of their wardrobe spaces that need this type of system, too (some brands offer soft-closing options).
Overlay Sliding Systems are ideal for wardrobes without loft. When closed, the shutters cover from top to bottom, and there is no chance of seeing any tracks when they close as most systems come with a soft-close mechanism.
There are two more mechanisms on the premium side:
XL Sliding Doors - When both shutters of sliding doors are the same level, it will give a seamless look to your wardrobe.
Telescoping Sliding Doors - All the doors can be slid to one side, opening up the entire wall.
The Width - The sliding wardrobe shutters are 1000mm wide, providing ample space in reaching inside the cabinet. A 2-door or 3-door shutter can be used depending on the width of the available wall space.
The Height - The height of a wardrobe is approximately 2100 millimetres. But sliding wardrobes can go up to 3000 millimetres in size. Certain shutter materials (such as Birchply, HDHMR) that can also be fit into these heights or Mix-n-Match profiles shutters allow for multiple designs and sizes to meet your needs. Sliding wardrobes are often made of plywood, but the wood is liable to bend with various climates.
For sliding shutters, you should make sure the handles are chosen intelligently. Interior designers have their unique style of handle. However, if you are hiring a carpenter for your home interior design, hide or aluminium profile handles work best so that you can slide the shutters more easily.
