Hooply (“Hooply,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Hooply mobile application (the “App”).
By using Hooply, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Hooply is designed to work primarily with information you enter into the App.
When using Hooply, you may choose to enter or store:
Player name
Team name
Jersey number
Position
Game details (date, opponent, tournament name, notes)
Basketball stat tracking information (shots, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers, fouls)
Player profile photo (optional)
By default, Hooply stores your data locally on your device.
This includes:
player profiles
game logs and stats
trends/insights results
settings
photos you attach to a profile
Hooply does not require you to create an account to use core features.
If you choose to add a player photo, Hooply may request access to:
your photo library (to select an image)
your camera (if supported and you choose to take a photo)
Hooply only uses photos you select for the purpose of displaying them inside the App (example: profile image and player cards).
You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to store and use any photos added to Hooply, especially photos of minors.
Hooply uses your data only to provide app functionality, including:
tracking and calculating stats
generating averages, trends, and insights
creating game recap summaries
generating player cards and shareable images
Hooply does not sell your personal information.
Hooply only shares information in these situations:
When you choose to share (example: sharing a player card or recap through iOS share options)
If required by law (such as legal requests or compliance obligations)
Hooply may use limited third-party services to improve reliability, such as crash reporting or basic analytics (if enabled).
If used, these services may collect limited technical information, such as:
device type and operating system version
crash logs
general app performance information
Hooply does not use third-party services to sell or track users across other apps for advertising purposes.
Hooply keeps your data for as long as it exists on your device.
You can remove your data at any time by:
deleting individual kids, games, or stats in the App (if supported), or
using the “Delete All Data” option (if included), or
deleting the App from your device
Hooply may be used to track stats for minors (children under 18), typically by parents or guardians.
Hooply does not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or marketing purposes.
If you believe a child’s information has been provided in a way that violates privacy rights, contact us and we will help address the issue.
We take reasonable steps to help protect user information. However, no method of storage is 100% secure.
Because Hooply stores data locally on your device, your device security settings (Face ID, passcode, etc.) play an important role in protecting your information.
If you are a California resident, you may have privacy rights under California law. Hooply does not sell personal information and is designed to store data locally.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App or made available with the App. Your continued use of Hooply means you accept any updated policy.
