Hooply Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
Hooply (the app) is developed by Polygarden Tools (we, us). This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: Hooply keeps your data on your device and does not collect, transmit, or sell it.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. Hooply has no user accounts and no sign in. We do not run analytics or tracking, and the app does not send your information to us or to any third party.
Your recordings
Videos you record with Hooply, including the team names and scores shown on the scoreboard, are saved directly to your device's storage. They stay on your device. We have no access to them and they are never uploaded to us or anyone else. You manage them through your phone's gallery and can delete them at any time.
Permissions the app uses
Hooply asks for the following permissions, used only on your device:
- Camera: to record video of the game.
- Microphone: to record the audio that goes with your video.
- Storage and media: to save your finished videos to your device.
- Vibration: to give silent feedback when you tap the scoring buttons.
None of these permissions are used to collect or send data off your device.
Purchases and subscriptions
Hooply offers an optional paid subscription. Payments are processed by Google Play, not by us. We never see or store your payment details. Google's handling of that information is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
Children
Hooply is intended for adults (18 and over). It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
