HooLive Privacy Policy

This HooLive Privacy Policy explains how HooLive ("HooLive", "we") treats information of our users. HooLive is a chat application developed by Smart Car TEAM.


We value the privacy of our users and those who access and use HooLive services (collectively, "you" or "users") and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose personal information from you.


You may share personal information when using HooLive services: When you provide information about yourself during the account creation process. Because HooLive services are social in nature, this information may be collected, used or disclosed by those who participate in such social interactions. We hope that you keep this in mind when using HooLive services.


What Information We Collect

User-Provided Information

When you use the HooLive Services, including submitting materials to the App or contacting us for technical assistance, you agree to provide the following personal information:

Details related to your registration, including your phone number or email and date of birth;

User-Generated Content or "UGC", including any text, messages and other materials you upload, share or stream through the App when using the HooLive Services;


Information Automatically Collected for Legitimate Interests

When you use the HooLive Services for legitimate reasons, we may collect the following personal information about you:

Device ID includes information such as your operating system, the brand, model and serial number of your mobile device, as well as information about your mobile operator, Internet Protocol (IP) address, screen resolution, language settings, IMEI, IMSI and media access control address;


Delete Account

If you want to delete your account for personal reasons or wishes, please follow the steps below:

1. If you still have the HooLive app, please open the app and click the [purple ball icon] in the lower right corner, then click [App Settings], then click [Delete Account], and finally click [Delete].

2. If you have deleted the HooLive app, please go to the following link: https://www.hoolive.club/account/. If you registered with your mobile phone number, please click [Phone], then enter your mobile phone number, then enter the verification code, and finally click [Confirm Deletion] to complete the account deletion. If you registered with Gmail, please click [Google], enter your registered Gmail, click [Continue], and you can delete your account after completing the login.

3. Please note that once you finally click [Delete]or [Confirm Deletion], your account information and personal data will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored or undone. Please think carefully before clicking.


Information Security

We take necessary administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. For example, access to personal information is limited to authorized employees and can only be used for approved business purposes. In addition, we use firewalls to help prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing your personal information, and we use encryption technology when some of your personal information is transmitted between your system and ours. However, we cannot completely eliminate security issues associated with the transmission and storage of your personal information. You should exercise caution when providing information through the HooLive Services and give special consideration to the information you choose to provide to us.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account details at all times.


Your Choices

You can request to stop receiving push notifications from us at any time by changing the permissions on your mobile device.

If you do not want your mobile device to disclose its microphone, camera, or other similar features, you can turn them off.

You can choose not to provide us with personal information, but doing so may prevent you from using certain HooLive Service features.


Your Rights

You can submit a request to review, modify, or delete the personal information we have about you using the help or feedback features on the HooLive Services, or you can send us your request via email. We will respond to your request as soon as possible in accordance with relevant laws after performing the necessary verification procedures.


Children

We do not knowingly collect or retain personal data from persons under the age of 18. We will take necessary steps to delete any personal information of individuals under 18 years of age that may be obtained on or through the HooLive Service.

Modifications and Updates to This Privacy Statement

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Statement from time to time. You should periodically review the most current version of this Privacy Policy available on the HooLive Service to be aware of any changes, as they are binding on you, even though we may attempt to notify you when material changes are made.

The date of any changes we make to the Privacy Policy will be included in the “Last Updated” date. You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the updated Privacy Policy when using the Service or when you continue to use the Service after the changes become effective.
