Terry Rose Agana

All teachers are heroes, but this one is unlike anyone else!

Terry Rose Agana, known to her students and colleagues as "Ma'am Terry", is highly admired and greatly loved by her students for a myriad of reasons. Her jolly, bright and bubbly energy brightens up the corridors of Kaunlaran High School, where she teaches Creative Writing to 12th grade students.

Ma'am Terry is described by her students as a fun-loving, giggly, happy-go-lucky teacher who is a friend to everyone. She hears out all voices and concerns of her students, and never makes them feel left out, she favors no one and treats all of her students justly. Ma'am Terry is nicknamed "Mommy Terry" by her students in section Atlas, for her motherly nature and warmth.

It's no doubt that Ma'am Terry has an impact on her beloved students, and section Atlas have spoken about Ma'am Terry, labeling her the kindest and warmest teacher they've ever encountered. The kids of this section simply can't help but smile, wave and greet Ma'am Terry whenever she passes by. She makes learning fun with her energy and makes sure none of her students are all on the same pace, and that none are left behind. A teacher who not only teaches but connects with her students and treats them as her own, is very rare, and people like Ma'am Terry should be respected and loved
