What We Do

Honor Flight of Oregon is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation registered in the state of Oregon and headquartered in Grants Pass and a Member of the Honor Flight Network

Mission: Transport Oregon veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring their service and sacrifices.

Goal: Our goal is to help every Southern Oregon veteran, who is willing and able, to visit THEIR Memorial. We strive to make this journey possible for each veteran, ensuring they have the opportunity to reflect and remember.

Priority: Top priority is given to our most senior heroes – WWII and Korean War veterans, and any veteran with a terminal illness who wishes to visit their memorial.

Philosophy: Since America felt it was important to build these memorials, Honor Flight of Oregon believes it is equally important that veterans actually get to visit and experience THEIR memorials firsthand. We are dedicated to providing our veterans with the honor and respect they deserve.

Motto: "We can’t all be heroes. Some of us have to stand on the curb and clap as they go by.” – Will Rogers

Our Commitment: Honor Flight of Oregon is committed to making these trips unforgettable experiences for our veterans. Through the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our supporters, we ensure that every veteran's journey is safe, memorable, and rewarding. We believe in honoring those who served by giving them the opportunity to visit the places built in their honor, and we are proud to stand by our heroes every step of the way.

Honor Flight of Oregon has two trips a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. Fill out an application or contact us for more information.
