Personally, I would want to know what they are going to do with the materials that they haul away. This may not seem important but in my opinion it says a lot. If a company is conscientious enough to be socially responsible and environmentally friendly then that leads me to believe that they will show the same dedication to delivering the desired service. I would make sure that they donate what they can and make every effort to keep as much as possible from ending up in a landfill.
