Concert Production

As a production house, our aim is to create concert experiences that can appeal to new audiences while also giving connoisseurs something to revel in. 

Accessibility

We try to draw in newcomers by incorporating multimedia elements in the concerts to achieve a mode of story-telling that is inclusive, where something meaningful may be experienced without a need to have prior training in classical music. So far, our attempts have focused on using illustrations or visual arts combined with a narrative in words.

Bach and Spirituality

There are different kinds of concerts, just as there are different genres in film; we choose to watch a particular genre that fits our mood at that current time. The concerts produced by Hong Kong Bach Collegium tend to be of the spiritual kind, where one may find solace and healing through the music of J. S. Bach. Regardless of our faith and religion, Bach's music is all-encompassing in its offering of empathy; its variety entrusted in the sheer volume of his output. There is always something new to be discovered and learned in Bach.
