Lingxi Ouyang, PhD candidate, 2022-2025

Research project: Fundamentals of nanobubble and applications in chemistry 

Lingxi Ouyang received his bachelor’s degree in Science from Central South University and Masters degree in Science from the Yunnan University. He currently is a PhD candidate at Queensland Micro and Nanotechnology Centre (QMNC), Griffith University, Australia. His research focuses on developing nanobubble technology, specifically on nanobubble generation, nanobubble catalysts, and decarbonisation.

Ying Ma, PhD candidate, 2023-2026

Ying Ma received her bachelor’s degree in Science from the South China University of Technology and her Master's degree in Science from Hong Kong City University. She currently is a PhD candidate at Queensland Micro and Nanotechnology Centre (QMNC), Griffith University, Australia. Her research focuses on the influences of surface roughness and structures on liquid boundary slip and cavitations.

Dr. Xueyu Ji, Research Fellow

Dr Xueyu Ji obtained his PhD from UNSW, with expertise in high-performance parallel computation, fluid dynamics, aeroacoustics, theoretical hydrodynamics, vortex dynamics, turbulent modelling, and vibration analysis of non-linear systems and random signals. He is working on ARC DP project resolving surface nanobubbles as cavitation nuclei.

Dr. Gregor Kijanka, Senior Research Fellow

Gregor is an outstanding expert in immunology at QMNC, Griffith University. He was Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland.

Experienced biomedical research group leader skilled in life sciences, clinical research & diagnostics, biotechnology & bioprocessing and microfluidics. Strong professional with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused in Medical Biotechnology from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Chartered Engineer qualifications (CEng MIEI).

Yuchen Dai completed his PhD at the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, in 2021. After graduation, he joined Queensland Micro Nanotechnology Centre (QMNC) at Griffith University as a research assistant. His research interests include plume theory, boundary layer theory, multiphase flow, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling, microfluidic technology, etc.
