My First Cabinet Meeting

I envision myself having my very first meeting with all the Cabinet Members.

I would start the meeting by telling them this:

"You know, despite the Resources available to us as the Most Powerful Nation on the planet, it's not enough. We can't save EVERYONE....

If we had the Resources of EVERY Country working TOGETHER, in Unison then we could actually make a dent. But, We don't. We only have us but we still have to - try.

That's why YOU were chosen.

I've been told that You guys are the BEST. However, because Our Resources are limited, I need 200% from EVERY one of You. Remember, there are People out there right now who are SUFFERING and DYING and Need Our Help. So Please don't do things ASAP, We need things to be done AFAP (as FAST as possible), AND EFFICIENTLY so We don't Waste any Resources.

Please TALK to each other. I'd really like as Much Interdepartmental exchange of Ideas as possible INCLUDING between Unrelated Offices. People who are outside of Your Particular Specialty see things from a different perspective and therefore may see things that You don't. Talk to each other. No, I don't expect You to keep this stuff in Your head when You go home to Your Families but when you're here, Please give it Everything You got and then some.

Me? That's different. I can't leave here to go home and then forget about it. This is home now so I can NEVER get away from it and guess what? I don't want to. There's People DYING Remember? I need to be THINKING, NONSTOP THINKING of ways to Help Them. Not 24/7. 25/8 and even that won't be enough to save all of them but it's the best We can do. Any Questions?
