This is my own RF series "Butterfly Seat" van with the back two seat rows folded flat and a futon thrown over the seats. It's been my comfortable bedroom on countless trips to the mountains in Japan, The great virtue of these seats is that they fold as flat as a table. It's possible to sleep on them just as they come, but a futon makes them even more comfortable.
The curtains were a Honda dealer option fitted when the van was bought new, but there are alternative after-market suppliers in Japan who also supply blackout curtains.
"Butterfly Seat" Stepwagons had a table on the back of the middle seat row. With the seat folded down it transformed into a good-sized coffee table. An optional very sturdy bigger raised table (called "Built in Table" by Honda) was available as a dealer option. Rotating front seats were a low cost factory option. Combining the two made the Stepwagon into a great little dinette for up to five. Some customers took advantage of the cheap rotating front seat option, but the only raised table that I have ever seen is in my van. The Honda Dealer told that mine was the only one ever ordered from them.
