Welcome to our faculty development pilot training for DE Recertification! You might be wondering why we are doing this, since we've been offering online courses for quite some time. Looking at online teaching and learning from a holistic approach, the goals of the HonCC's DE program are to provide support and training for faculty, staff, and students. To provide professional development for our faculty teaching online as well as support our ACCJC Accreditation standards, this training iteration focuses on course mapping and alignment, in congruence with Quality Matters. - End date: November 1, 2019
- This training is self-paced and untimed, individuals may start anytime; however, the training must be completed by November 1st, so a time can be scheduled to meet with you regarding your final project

- Estimated completion time: 6-10 hrs.
- Those who successfully complete the recertification activities and meet with a representative from the ETC department regarding their completed work for this training will receive a certificate of completion and gain a 5-year recertification to teach online at Honolulu Community College
