“I am a Professor and I write my students’ work! I know it is an odd thing to be proud of, but it is completely true. Ever since I joined competent writing sites like Quality Course Work to earn something extra on the side, I always end up doing my students’ work. It has happened to me severally. I assigned an essay to be written within two days, and I found the same requirements of the same essay while indulging in my part-time work. Making matters worse, I will at times mark my own work or a colleague’s work. It may seem hilarious at the moment, but I now often doubt my sanity when assigning work to my students.
The curriculum is at the moment tightly packed with so much to cover and very little room for actual growth and independent thinking. Each lecturer strives to squeeze the most out of their students. The technology that is ever-changing does not make things any easier. I, personally, am completely breathless trying to keep up with it. These days, one has to think on their feet and incorporate all skills available just to stay afloat. Imagine what you have to do to stay ahead of the competition. By the time we are done with these brilliant students, they are completely winded. I now understand why students would run to competent writers to ensure that their grades remain above average and in the meantime, build their social lives. I actually recommend the use of writing sites, as long as they are credible, in maintaining grades. This has to be done wisely of course, and the student would obviously require reading through these papers before submitting them.
I always have the urge to ask a student in class or on the site if they realize that their professor is writing their paper. Imagine the horror they would have on their faces! That, however, would be a violation of the policies of academic writing sites. And of course, scaring them away means bad business for me.
Save for my students, I write a lot of custom essays, term papers, dissertations, projects and theses from other schools. The requirements and standards that are set for some of these students are outrageous. Research for some of these academic papers is extremely hard to come by. I had earlier assumed that these sites were made for lazy students, but I was shocked to realize that I, at times, holder of a doctorate degree, could not complete a single essay paper given the short deadline, lack of research materials and requirements that were given.
Because of these custom academic sites, I am now cautious when giving work to my students. They have taught me to look at work through my students’ eyes and critically analyze whether the essays I give are helpful to them. I also make sure that I do a little light reading myself before I assign particular topics to them so as to ensure that they have research material for their academic essays. Otherwise, I would be making work more difficult for myself as a writer.”
