About Us

Aditi Shukla

Hello my name is Aditi Shukla and I am a sophomore in high school. I have created this website to help reach out to younger students and their families. Many people have been struggling during this lock down-trying to work from home while homeschooling their kids. I created Spark Tutoring to help ease this struggle and reduce the stress of both students and their families. I would love to help students complete their homework or teach them a subject they are struggling with. We could also just meet for a check-in to make sure the student has completed all the assignments for that day.

If you are a middle or high school student who would like to join me to raise money and help the community by tutoring younger students, please contact me.

Charles Zhu

Charles Zhu is a sophomore at Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, CA, who has a passion for math and computer science, specifically AI and web design.

An active member of his school's robotics team and Interact club, he helps organize volunteering events throughout his community and loves to help others in his free time. Beyond academics, he loves piano, hiking, and photography.

Soumily Maji

Hi, I’m Soumily Maji, and I’m a current freshman at Fremont High School. I have a great passion for english, math, and science. Especially in science, I have four years of experience teaching science to kids from ages 6-11 from Destination Science. I have also placed well in a few math competitions, such as Math Kangaroo and the Noetic Learning Math Contest.

I absolutely love teaching children, and I’m excited to help them out and expand their horizons!

Tarini Maram

Hi! My name is Tarini Maram and I am going to be a sophomore at Homestead High School in the fall. I love to play the violin and swim. I have a younger sister who is going to be in 7th grade, so I have some experience with teaching and helping younger kids.

I am comfortable with math (geometry and below), science, English, and Java programming basics.

Edward Zhou

Edward Zhou is currently a sophomore at Homestead High School in Cupertino, CA. He is a member of the Homestead Programming Club and takes interest in computer science/programming, math, and physics. In addition, he is in the wind ensemble and cross country team of Homestead.

As a student in multiple honors courses, he enjoys helping others whenever possible and wishes to continue that passion through Spark Tutoring.

Veda Srinivasan

Hi my name is Veda and I am a sophomore in High School and I really enjoy working with kids and I am extremely passionate about math and science. In my free time I like to garden, play the violin, and swim!

I would love to help students and I am so happy to be part of the Spark Tutoring team!
