Walks: no penalty for cancelling more than 24 hrs before scheduled walk time; charged full price for cancelling within 24 hrs of scheduled walk time (e.g. if your dog is scheduled for an hour walk at 5pm on Monday and you cancel at 8pm on Sunday, you’ll be still be charged $45)
Overnight stays 1-4 nights: no penalty for cancelling more than 3 days before the date of the start of your booking; cancelling within 3 days results in charge for 75% of the rate of your original booking (e.g. if you book 3 nights for one dog and cancel 2 days before the beginning of your booking, you’ll be charged $191.25)
Overnight stays 5+ nights: no penalty for cancelling more than 7 days before the date of the start of your booking; cancelling within 7 days results in charge for 100% of the rate of your original booking (e.g. if you book 7 nights for one dog and cancel 4 days before the beginning of your booking, you’ll be charged $595)
Any calendar holds for overnight stays require a non-refundable $20 deposit for each night held (e.g. if you request to hold 6 nights, you’ll be charged a non-refundable deposit of $120 at the time of the hold request). Failure to pay this deposit within 24 hours of your request will result in your hold being forfeited. The deposit will be deducted from your total bill.
If you book 10+ consecutive nights, you’ll receive a 10% discount on your final total.
If you’d like to partner with friends/neighbors to coordinate a group walk time for your dogs AND THERE IS A SINGLE PICKUP POINT, the single household/multi dog walk rates will apply to those group walks.
“Checkout time” for overnight bookings is 12pm. Should you be returning late in the day, and your dog will require additional walks/feeding after 12pm and before your return, you will be charged for an additional night.
Payment may be remitted via cash, check, or Venmo.
Please ensure payment is remitted in a timely manner. I'd really love to never have to create a real policy about this!
Walk time is measured from the time I enter your home to pick up your dog to the time I exit your home after drop-off. This time DOES include any post-walk cleanup you may request (e.g. if your dog requires a wipe-down after walking, the time it takes to perform that wipe-down is counted against the walk time).
Please understand that I allow a for reasonable margin of error on timing at both the beginning and end of a walk, for all parties.
