Every year, Hometown Thanksgiving offers a free, home-cooked Thanksgiving meal to share with our community. But none of that is possible without the amazing support of our community volunteers.

Volunteer as a family!
On Thanksgiving Day, we have over 250+ volunteer opportunities, from meal delivery to serving in the dining room to washing dishes.
Not available to help on Thanksgiving Day? There are spots available on Wednesday 11/27 for prep and also clean-up/storage help on Friday 11/29.
Need volunteer hours?? We can help!! We sign off on of a variety of volunteer requirements!! (Boy Scouts, Nat'l Honor Society, high school extra-curricular groups)

Meal Prep
Cutting vegetables, peeling potatoes, boxing desserts for the big day!
Wednesday 11/27
9am-11am (approx)
Buffet Line Servers (18+)
Serving food into takeout containers for our meal deliveries and for our wait staff during the meal.
Thursday 11/28
Times available throughout the day between 7am and 3:30pm
Meal Delivery Drivers
Picking up a "route" of 20-25 meals to deliver to those in our community not able to attend in person.
Thursday 11/28
Times available in the morning between 9am-11am
Hospitality
Serving our guests refreshments while they are waiting to be seated and offering conversation.

Takeout Meal Boxing
Walking through the buffet line, filling takeout containers for our meal deliveries.

Wait Staff
Serving our guests at their table in the dining room, walking through the buffet line to get their food.

Desserts
